Rooster Rehoming Policy

We’re excited to now offer several autosexing and sex‑linked breeds to meet all your rainbow basket goals.

For the safety of our flock, we will no longer be accepting roosters for rehoming. The biosecurity risks are simply not worth jeopardizing the health of our birds—or your soon‑to‑be chicks.

We know this change matters to you, and that’s exactly why we’ve expanded our lineup to include 100% guaranteed pullets.

Please keep your receipt. Roosters purchased before September 1st will still be eligible for rehoming.

We do not offer refund or exchange for straight run chicks. 

We do not rehome roosters from hatching eggs.

 Chicks must be Purchased from Lazzzy D Farm and before 09/01/2026

 To ensure proper maturity, roosters must be at least 16 weeks old before they can be returned. 

 To protect the health and safety of our flocks, all appointments are scheduled exclusively on Sunday afternoons. 

 Roosters must be in good health. We may decline a return if a rooster appears sick, and we may temporarily stop accepting roosters during periods of increased avian influenza risk or other biosecurity concerns.
